LIVING HOPE UK
Living Hope UK is interdenominational in spirit, FULL GOSPEL in belief, and PENTECOSTAL in message. We are a body of Believers who have been selected, called, and ordained by God to minister to the needs of the “TOTAL MAN”.
This means that we are committed to reaching, teaching, and nurturing to the spiritual, mental, physical, psychological and emotional needs in a person's life, and the preaching of the four square gospel: JESUS: Saviour, Baptiser, Healer and coming King.
Living Hope Grace & Truth Church is under the umbrella of the
Living Hope UK Charity.
LIVING HOPE |
GRACE & TRUTH |
Living Hope comes from the Bible verse 'Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.' 1 PETER 1:3 (KJV)
Jesus gives us a living hope which is strong and sure. We do not need to worry about what the future holds because God has planned the best future for each of us, one in which we have a living hope through Christ. |
Grace & Truth comes from the Bible verse, 'For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.' JOHN 1:17 (KJV) We can all experience the Love that God has for each us because of the Grace extended to us, which is God's Riches At Christ's Expense (G.R.A.C.E.) We are set free by the truth, 'And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.' Jesus is the truth! ''And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.'

ALEPH & TAV |
|
It is important to explain the meaning of the two symbols at the foot of the cross on our logo. They are the Hebrew letters Aleph = א and Tav = ת (sometimes called ‘Tau’) and they are the first and last letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Remembering that Hebrew reads from right to left so it is את it is pronounced ‘et’ Amazingly, there were a number times in the New Testament Jesus calls Himself the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. (Revelation 1:8 & 11, Rev 21:6, Revelation 22:13). However, Jesus never said I am the Alpha and the Omega, which are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. Jesus didn't speak Greek, He spoke Hebrew and Aramaic. So what He actually said was, "I am the Aleph and the Tav." Jesus was there from the beginning. In the Hebrew language the word ‘et’ את, Aleph and Tav has been untranslatable for thousands of years. The reason it was not translated is because the rabbis and scribes have never known the true meaning of this word. But Jesus gave the answer! Praise God Jesus is the Aleph and Tav the first and last who was and is and is to come! את = ‘êṯ’ occurs 7034 in the Old Testament and the first time ‘êṯ’ appears in the Bible is in Genesis 1:1
